Description
Level 2. Transition course (application) in Acute Respiratory Failure & Mechanical Ventilation is a 2-day e-course building progressively on Level 1, where you may further deepen your knowledge on respiratory physiology of gas exchange, advanced respiratory mechanics, mechanical ventilation, prone positioning, initiating Mechanical ventilation in ARDS/COPA/Asthma/Obesity, PEEP and Recrutability, and recruitment manoeuvres. You can complement it with Level 3. The Advanced Master Course (integration and simulation).

IMPORTANT! A total of 10 places will be offered for FREE to participants coming from Low and Lower Middle-Income Countries (LMIC), as per the World Bank classification. If you are interested in applying for an LMIC place, send us your letter of interest and CV to education@esicm.org. Applicants will be selected based on gender equity, equitable geographical representation, levels of expertise and multi-disciplinarity. Deadline for LMIC applications: May 26, 2024.
