Course Outline

Management Skills in Intensive Care is a two-day course aimed at specialists and doctors training in intensive care medicine. The objectives of the course are to enable participants to develop the knowledge and skills with the organisational and management aspects of running an intensive care unit.

A comprehensive workbook is given to each course participant. The course uses a mixture of blended learning techniques including problem based learning, small group teaching, didactic lectures and concludes with a simulated Director’s Meeting on the final day.
