The NEXT committee and its members play a pivotal role in the success of the ESICM’s annual congress, LIVES.
Experience a showcase of cutting-edge research presented in high-speed style. In this contest, researchers will have just 10 minutes each to convince you of the merit of their studies.
A jury of experts will vote for the most compelling and impactful research presented.
Join us for a session that combines the intensity of competition with the excitement of new medical discoveries.
The eligible projects would be projects that need help (network, methodology expertise…) to be further developed, hence probably no preliminary results.
If you are a NEXT member (Member of the Society ≤ 37 years of age) and you are planning to conduct a research project but need some help to increase the number of centers, you are invited to submit your research project.
The top four highest-scoring projects submitted will be invited to present their findings to a panel of critical care clinicians at LIVES 2025 in Munich
Send us your application, including your CV (max. 2 pages, including your age and ESICM username) and your research project (max 6 pages), combined into a single PDF to next@esicm.org.
