WEBINAR: management of critically ill patients with the virus

This webinar is the second in a series of webinars addressing the subject of COVID-19 and covers the background to the epidemiology, ongoing trials, clinical presentations and diagnosis, supportive therapies, bedside approach and future directions to managing critically ill patients with the virus.

Prof. Yaseen ARABI is Chairman of the Intensive Care Dept. and Professor at the College of Medicine, King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), King Abdulaziz Medical City Riyadh (KAMC-R), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Lennie DERDE, MD, PhD, is a Consultant in ICU and ID in the Intensive Care Centre, University Medical Centre Utrecht, The Netherlands.   She is the European co-lead of an international adaptive platform trial studying best treatment for CAP in ICU patients, a member of the Dutch task force on infectious threats, and Chair of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine Clinical Training Committee.
