Your next step towards the European Diploma in EchoCardiography

Would you like to acquire the skills to use echocardiography as a sequential assessment tool?

If you are a fully-recognised intensivist, and have already attended a basic echocardiography course, the EDEC Advanced course is the next essential step to achieving the European Diploma in EchoCardiography!

Developed by the ESICM Division of Professional Development, the EDEC Advanced Course on Echocardiography is designed for intensivists who have achieved a basic level of education and training in the use of echocardiography in an intensive care setting and would like to obtain an advanced knowledge and certification of their competency. Participation in this course counts towards the minimum of 40 hours of advanced courses required before sitting the evaluation tests of the European Diploma in EchoCardiography (EDEC).
