An evidence-based educational journey designed to build foundational to advanced competencies in extracorporeal life support, guided by EuroELSO standards. Note: Due to the specifics of this pathway, there is no transition level. To remain consistent with the methodology applied to all ESICM pathways, levels are stipulated accordingly (in this case Level 1 and Level3).
A total of 5 fellowships are offered to the top scoring participants in the ECLS/ECMO pathway. This will be an opportunity for the participants who have achieved a sufficient level of both attendance and assessment performance to undertake fellowships in specific areas of ECLS/ECMOs, gaining bedside teaching from experts at globally renowned academic health sciences centres. Fellowships will last 1 week and will come with a bursary of 1000 EUR to support travel and accommodation at the site.
