President elect, Professor Maurizio Cecconi, in conversation with JAMA Q&A
ESICM President elect, Professor Maurizio Cecconi, will be speaking about the COVID-19 ICU Network on the JAMA Network Q&A, which will be live streamed on Friday 13 March at 0800 hrs Central US time (1400 hrs CET).
The COVID-19 Network of ICU physicians in Lombardy manages the surge of patients requiring critical care in the region. Based on an existing ECMO centre network, the system develops cohort ICUs to rapidly identify, triage and manage Coronavirus-infected patients.
Professor Cecconi, who has led the effort, will be discussing experiences to-date and lessons learned.
