A helping hand during these challenging times 

C19_SPACE stands for COVID-19 Skills PrepAration CoursE and it’s a free, two-part programme addressing the fundamentals of intensive care, funded by the EU and available in all EU languages.

So far, over 16,000 doctors and nurses from the EU and UK are enrolled on the course. Now more healthcare workers not regularly working in ICUs may assist their colleagues with the burden they have been carrying for a year now.

Due to the high demand, the programme has been extended until May and we hope to keep it open as long as needed.

Through the C19_SPACE programme, ESICM has held a helping hand in these difficult times, but it would not have been possible without the participants’ commitment and endeavours to protect European citizens.
