The Green Nutrition ICU Project
It aims to make ICU nutrition safer and more sustainable by extending
the hang time of enteral and parenteral feeding systems beyond 24 hours without increasing contamination risk.
Prof. Dr Arthur R.H. van Zanten
The Critical Care Nutrition Multinational Registry (ACUTE)
ACUTE is a multinational registry designed to prospectively collect dand evalute nutrition practices on Intensive Care Units (ICU) worldwide, which is endorsed by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM). ICUs interested in participating in this registry are encouraged to complete a site registration form. Each participating ICU is expected to enroll a minimum of 20 patients over one year and can be part of following research projects.
Carina Güttler, Christian Stoppe
GUTPHOS
A prospective multicentre study designed to validate the Gastrointestinal Dysfunction Score (GIDS) and to investigate dysphosphatemia during the first week of ICU stay. Endorsed by ESICM, received the ESICM–Fresenius Kabi grant.
Prof. Annika Reintam Blas, Prof. Dr Arthur R.H. van Zanten MD PhD
Planed Research Surveys
1.) When to Start Feeding in Critical Illness
2.) Protein Dose, Targets, and Outcomes
3.) Metabolic Monitoring Through Phases
4.) Hormonal Assessment and Nutritional Implications
5.) Integrations to Enteral/Parenteral Nutrition
6.) Gastrointestinal Dysfunction Management
