POST-CARDIAC ARREST MANAGEMENT

Post-resuscitation disease includes all clinical and biological manifestations related to the phenomenon of global ischaemia-reperfusion triggered by cardiac arrest and return to spontaneous circulation. The main component of the post-cardiac arrest syndrome is a sometimes early but severe cardio-circulatory dysfunction that may lead to multiple organ failure and death.

On Thursday 4th February from 16.00 to 17.00 hrs (CET), Prs. Alain Cariou and Claudio Sandroni will discuss post-resuscitation disease, including the definition, pathophysiology and clinical features, and management of all related neurological, cardiovascular, protective and rehabilitative aspects of this syndrome in a new interactive webinar. Participants will be provided with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss with the presentors for 30 minutes following the presentation.
