High Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO): a standard
of care for COVID-19 patients and beyond?
High flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) is a relatively recent respiratory support technique that delivers high flow, heated and humidified controlled concentration of oxygen via the nasal route. Recently, its use has increased for a variety of clinical indications.
Our free webinar on 22 April aimed at continuing raising awareness around the use and benefits of HFNO, including:
• Non Invasive respiratory support in COVID-19 patients
• HFNO in COPD patients and Acute Hypoxemic respiratory failure
• use of HFNO in the peri-intubation and post extubation period
