WEAN SAFE Study – WorldwidE AssessmeNt of Separation of pAtients From ventilatory assistancE was initiated by the ESICM ARF Section following the highly successful LUNG SAFE study. This study will assess the burden of, management and spectrum of approaches to weaning from ventilation in a large population of ICU patients.
