Expanding a Winning SSC Strategy

In this icTV interview for the Sepsis Series, we caught up with President Jean-Daniel Chiche in Montreux at ESICM’s conference “Sepsis From Bench to Bedside”. Chiche discusses the importance of scientific societies focusing on translational medicine and details the need for expansion of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign’s (SSC) success.

JD Chiche on the SSC Guidelines: “(if we could) apply them in 10,000 hospitals, with a compliancy of 50-80 percent, the potential is to save half a million to a million lives – and this is where scientific societies have a responsibility today”.
