Nurses, allied health professionals (AHPs), scientists, and pharmacists from the Emerging Nations and Eastern Europe (see list of countries here) interested in intensive care medicine, may benefit from a reduced membership fee (Non-Physician Membership).
Non-Physician Members may participate in business and scientific meetings, vote at the General Assembly and be eligible for office in the N&AHP Committee, according to the rules defined in the SOPs. However, they have no voting or eligibility rights for other positions.
Non-Physician Membership is not accepted for EDIC, as it is restricted to physicians only.
The price of ESICM Emerging Nations and Eastern Europe Non-Physician Membership is 40€ (ex. 21% VAT) for a calendar year (January to December)*.
*Membership paid before 27 October 2025 is valid until 31 January 2026 (Membership 2025).
*Membership paid after 27 October 2025 is valid until 31 January 2027 (Membership 2026).
