What’s new in ARDS?

Replay available

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is the term applied to a spectrum of conditions with different etiologies that share common clinical-pathological characteristics. ARDS accounts for ~ 10% of admissions to intensive care units (ICU) and 23% of ventilated patients, with mortality up to 45% in the severe category.

Together with the Associação de Medicina Intensiva Brasileira (AMIB), the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) has organised the following webinar in which the experts of both societies will discuss the novelties of and about ARDS.

Aims & Objectives
