Getting started in experimental research in intensive care medicine: what do I need?

Replay available
Experimental research has always been the cornerstone of pathophysiological and therapeutic advances in critical care medicine, where clinical observations and basic research mutually feed each other in a so-called translational approach.
During this webinar, organised by the ESICM Translational Biology (TransBio) section, we will address the different aspects of translational research in Intensive Care Medicine and how to plan and conduct it.
Learning Outcomes
- Review the regulatory and ethical aspects of experimental research.
- Review the tools to formulate and conduct good experimental research
- Understand pitfalls and opportunities for ICU-related observational research
