LIVES 2017 Celebrations

It is ESICM’s 35th year and it’s 30th Annual Congress, so there is extra cause for celebration! All of the festivities officially begin on Sunday, September 24th with an Opening Session attended by the top names in critical care medicine and some thought-provoking presentations to start your congress experience off with a bang…

ESICM President Massimo Antonelli will open the session with a welcome for participants and an update of the society’s newest evolutions.

President-elect Jozef Kesecioglu will then present 2017’s Honorary Memberships and our Society Medal winner will be honoured with a special presentation.

We leave it to Chair of the Division of Scientific Affairs Maurizio Cecconi to guide us through all the best features (and surprises!) LIVES 2017 has to offer, including our daily interactive debate sessions, Twitter-moderated sessions and 21 clinical trials with results to be presented at sessions on each day of the congress!

The audience will also be treated to two inspiring topical keynote presentations (see more HERE) before Massimo Antonelli officially opens the congress and invites delegates to join the opening reception in the scientific exhibition area.
