We are delighted to share that the Intensive Care Medicine Experimental (ICMx) Journal has achieved an Impact Factor of 2.8 for the year 2023!

Created in 2013, ICMx is the official journal of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine that is dedicated to translational research. As an Open-Access journal, ICMx is uniquely positioned at the intersection of clinical and basic science. It is also one of few journals publishing research constructing the pipeline of novel discoveries that can advance bedside care of critically ill patients.

This is a significant achievement for all those who have played a role in the continued success of the journal. We especially thank the talented authors who have submitted their best research, our committed reviewers, whose thorough comments have contributed to improving the journal’s content, the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), and our publisher.
