MEET THE EDITOR

Luigi Camporota is consultant in critical care and Director of the Severe Respiratory Failure and ECMO Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London (UK).
He is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Intensive Care Medicine at King’s College London.

His clinical and research interest is in Respiratory failure, ARDS, mechanical ventilation, respiratory monitoring, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal (ECCO2R).
