Katarzyna Kotfis is Senior Consultant in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Therapy and Acute Intoxications, Teaching Hospital No. 2 in Szczecin, Poland.
She is also Full Professor at the Pomeranian Medical University.

Her major research interest span from delirium, pain, PICS, ethics, equity/equality, patient safety, elderly care and sepsis.
