• Cardiac: Describe, perform and interpret transthoracic cardiac ultrasound for the recognition and assessment of common conditions and clinical syndromes
• Thoracic: Describe, perform and interpret thoracic and pleural ultrasound
• Abdominal: Describe, perform and interpret ultrasonographic assessment of the abdomen
• Neurology: Describe, perform and interpret basic neuro ultrasonography
• Vascular: Describe, perform and interpret basic vascular ultrasonography
  
  By the end of the course, participants will have developed the core practical skills required to confidently integrate cardiac, abdominal, vascular, brain and lung ultrasound into the assessment and management of critically ill patients

The course focuses on the core applications of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in intensive care, including cardiac, lung, abdominal, vascular and brain ultrasound.
Each topic is reinforced through:

• Expert-led introductory lectures and live demonstrations
• Interactive case-based learning
• Extensive hands-on practical training in small groups
• Practical skills that can be immediately applied in daily ICU practice

• Junior physicians with an ICU background wishing to acquire or improve their core critical care ultrasound core competencies
