The new ESICM free learning pathway on Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) for Severe Infection aims at highlighting the importance of antibiotic stewardship in the ICU, the role of a multidisciplinary and multi-professional approach, as well as the value of the diagnosis in the management of severe infections to avoid or reduce inappropriate use of antimicrobials.

In this kick-off webinar, some of the ICU physicians, nurses and clinical pharmac(olog)ists who make up the programme’s faculty will present the pathway and discuss the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to AMS in the ICU.
