ESICM Research – Call for Project Endorsement Applications

The European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) is pleased to announce the launch of its Call for Project Endorsement Applications.

Through this initiative, ESICM aims to support high-quality educational, scientific, and collaborative projects that contribute to advancing intensive care medicine and align with the Society’s mission and strategic priorities.

🔹 Call 1 opens: Monday, 15 June 2026
🔹 Call 1 closes: Monday, 13 July 2026

🔹 Call 2 opens: Monday, 19 October 2026
🔹 Call 2 closes: Monday, 9 November 2026

Submission Criteria

We welcome high-quality proposals that demonstrate:

• Before applying for ESICM endorsement, applicants must have sought approval from the relevant ESICM Section Lead or relevant ESICM committee. Evidence of this consultation should be provided.
• Relevance to intensive care medicine and intensive care practice.
• Alignment with ESICM’s scientific, educational, and strategic objectives.
• Clear objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.
• Potential impact on healthcare professionals, patients, or the intensive care community.

Applicants are invited to complete the official application form and submit it in English to ESICM Research via email: research@esicm.org

All applications will be reviewed by the relevant ESICM committees, and applicants will be informed of the outcome following the evaluation process.
