In this session, Élie Azoulay, ESICM President-Elect, will engage in conversation with Prof Elisa Estenssoro on critical ICU topics and moderate questions coming from the audience.
Prof Estenssoro has led numerous critical care studies in Argentina and South America, primarily focusing on ARDS, sepsis, septic shock, and, more recently, COVID-19. She was the first female president of the Argentine Society of Intensive Care (2008–2010) and is a senior consultant for the Ministry of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires.
