After hosting Dr Kwizera, this session will see Adrian Wong, ESICM Chair of the Social Media and Digital Content Committee, engage in conversation with Prof Singer on critical ICU topics and moderate questions coming from the audience.

Mervyn Singer has co-chaired the Sepsis-3 Definitions International Task Force that redefined sepsis in 2016. He developed an oesophageal Doppler haemodynamic monitor; moreover, he co-developed the UCL Ventura CPAP device to support the breathing of COVID-19 patients with respiratory failure.
