If you would like your event to be considered for endorsement, please fill out the application form and send it to research[ @ ]esicm.org with the event programme.
To streamline the process of meeting endorsement and ensure transparency, the following items will be considered when evaluating an application from an external party for ‘ESICM Meeting endorsement’. When ESICM endorses a meeting, the organisers are allowed to use the ESICM logo, with the specific mention ‘endorsed by ESICM’, in the different channels of communication.
The event should align with ESICM’s core values, including integrity, collaboration, and respect.
The activity’s content should be directly relevant to the field of intensive care medicine, addressing current challenges, innovations, and research findings that can contribute to patient care and medical practice. At least 50% of the activity should focus on ICU-related activities.
The scientific programme should be based on the latest evidence and research in the field.
Adherence to high ethical standards in all aspects of the meeting, including transparency in funding, conflict of interest disclosures, and the promotion of unbiased scientific research. Commercial entities should not have a direct influence on the programme.
Demonstrable diversity in faculty.
Consideration of the environmental impact of the meeting and demonstration of efforts to minimise its carbon footprint and overall impact on the environment.
