Join the digital edition and win a free entrance to LIVES 2021
A critical care datathon is an event where multidisciplinary teams and international experts join forces to investigate clinical questions using large datasets of electronic health records. After two successful editions in Milan, the third edition of the ESICM Critical Care Datathon will be a digital one and registrations are open!
We advise subscribers to possess the following skills: if you’re a clinician, some real experience in ICU; if you’re a data scientist, proficiency in R / Python / SQL queries, and a background in machine learning, statistical modelling, or data visualisation.
We will kick-off the 2021 Datathon with an introductory webinar on Friday, April 30, where participating teams will be assigned 5 clinical questions. They will have to figure out a way to interrogate the AmsterdamUMCdb database to provide an innovative solution to the problems.
Teams will have the opportunity to present their work on Friday, May 28 and hopefully win a free entrance to the ESICM 2021 LIVES Congress.
The registration fee is 20 euros for both ESICM members and non-members.
Places are limited! Registrations will close once 9 teams – made of 9 people – will be formed.
