Mechanical Ventilation-State of the Art is an engaging 3-day e-master class that aims at reviewing the respiratory physiology, understanding the patient-ventilator interaction, applying the principles of mechanical ventilation in ARDS, COPD & asthma patients, and consolidating knowledge & skills on how to manage the ventilated patients, from haemodynamic monitoring, sedation and weaning protocols to tracheostomy. Due to the current uncertain context, the master class has been re-formatted into virtual training, making use of agile virtual environments and responsive innovative solutions.
