New COVID-19 PEEP-SAFE Survey
For all ICU HCW directly involved in the clinical management of COVID-19 patients
The COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing and spreading around the globe, with our ICU workforce at the frontline. Reports are emerging of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stocks becoming low – to unavailable – putting us at increased risk.
The PPE-SAFE Steering Committee has designed a short survey to understand the current situation across our intensive care community. The survey takes less than 10 minutes and can be completed from a cell phone or computer.
The survey is anonymous, has been approved as a quality assurance activity by the Human Research Ethics Committee, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Australia (LNR/2020/QRBW/63041), and endorsed by ESICM and ESCMID ESGCIP.
The Steering Committee responsible for the survey seeks the response of all ICU Health Care Workers directly involved in the clinical management of COVID-19 patients. If you are one of them, please use the following link to complete the survey here
We would encourage you to forward this link to all your colleagues involved in the care of ICU COVID-19 patients, as everyone’s opinion matters!
The protocol can be downloaded here.
The members of the PEEP-SAFE Steering Committee are Alexis Tabah, Mahesh Ramanan, Jan De Waele, Nathalie Ssi-Yan-Kai, Kevin Laupland, Lennie Derde, Niccolò Buetti, Johannes Mellinghoff, Pedro Povoa, Andrew Conway Morris, Matteo Bassetti, Flavia Machado, Luigi Camporota, Karin Amrein, Gabriela Vidal.
Thank you for your participating in this survey:
