Shape & direct the future of intensive care

Would you stand for election?

Various positions within the Society are up for election this Spring, across the different sections and committees and on the Executive Committee.

Becoming an officer or joining a committee or section is a way to get more involved in the Society’s development, to support research and development, and to bring your own experience to a function or active group.

If you want to shape and direct how intensive care will be in the coming years, or to help and support your speciality, why not consider putting yourself forward?

All vacancies and how to apply are found on the ESICM website.

The call for candidates opens on 17 April and will close on 14 May. Ballots start in May.

Current Secretary and former Chair of the Research Committee, Lui Forni, discusses what he has found most rewarding from his own involvement.
