The NEXT PG Course at the LIVES annual congress “ICM RESEARCH: EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A CRACKING START!” offers a small group of 40 participants the opportunity to work alongside International Experts to improve their understanding of research methodology.

The core course is held on the Saturday prior to the congress, but it does not end there! The group also meets for daily interactive and practical lunch time sessions during the congress to provide delegates with the chance to test their new found knowledge and follow up with the presenters on any lingering questions regarding conducting research.

Who should register?

  • This course is particularly aimed at trainees and early career intensivists wishing to improve their understanding of research methodology and literature appraisal and publication. It would also be of interest to other intensivists and allied health professionals engaged in research.

Why participate in this course?

  • The content of the course will be tailored to the experience and interests of the delegates.
  • The delegate number is deliberately small, to create an informal and interactive atmosphere between the speakers and participants. So this course is perfect for young specialists who are interested in opportunities to meet and engage with faculty members.
