Pre-congress courses and individual learning pathways

Linked to educational activities throughout the year

LIVES 2019, the Society’s annual congress, will be used to build on some of the individual learning pathways created for ESICM members last year.

The idea is for congress attendees to attend congress sessions and follow these up throughout the year with Masterclasses, e-Learning modules and Fellowships.

The Division of Professional Development (DPD) Committee is working closely with the Congress Committee to revamp some of the pre-congress courses and make them more interactive.

Participants will be able to spend time with experts, take part in case-based discussions, meet the authors of the Society’s e-learning materials, as well as educationalists involved with the Academy platform.

Pascale Gruber, Chair of the DPD Committee, explains how individual learning pathways can be followed both during and after the annual congress.
