EuroAsia 2017 Report

ESICM's first conference outside Europe was a resounding success…

This three-day conference from April 6-8 in Hong Kong drew more than 450 delegates from 48 countries. The extensive programme developed together with our Asian Society partners offered participants opportunities to attend interactive Post Graduate courses covering the key areas of respiratory failure and organ interaction; AKI and RRT; haemodynamics, and key issues in septic shock management. They also participated in case-based discussions with international experts and discover brand new research presented for the first time.

On Saturday, authors of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign Massimo Antonelli, Daniel De Backer and Jean-Louis Vincent hosted a special LIVE online session featuring a case-based discussion on the new guidelines. On site participants enjoyed a unique opportunity to ask questions and delve into key clinical points on implementing the guidelines at the bedside. A number of industry partners were also on hand to provide information on their newest innovative products.

ESICM would like to thank all delegates and faculty members, as well as society and industry partners for their active participation in this event!
