The European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) is proud to host LIVES 2015, the 28th Annual Congress of the Society, at Citycube, in Berlin, Germany during the commemorative year of the 25TH anniversary of the monumental fall of the Berlin Wall.
Thousands of intensive care and allied healthcare professionals from around the world will converge October 3 - 7, 2015 in Berlin, a vibrant, trendy city with an unmistakable wealth of culture and art for LIVES 2015. Renown for the breadth and depth of it’s educational and scientific programme, this edition of the Society’s annual congress will deliver on its goal to update clinicians, nursing staff and allied health professionals on the latest and most relevant advances in critical care and emergency medicine. This year there will be 11 postgraduate courses adapted to suit potential European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) I & II candidates, as well as those more ‘senior’ intensive care professionals who would like to refresh their knowledge and update crucial skills in a broad range of topics (including sepsis and haemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, basic and advanced ultrasound courses, plus many others!)
The scientific programme opens Sunday with the “NEXT Day” led by top international experts and young specialists who will present on, discuss and debate the hottest topics in intensive care medicine. In the days to follow, delegates will be treated to an original scientific programme with 12 continuous parallel sessions and nearly 2000 lectures, presentations, debates, tutorials and interactive educational sessions – presented by more than 250 international experts.
LIVES 2015 promises to once again be the ICM congress of the year! Ensure you register early and plan your congress ahead of time with our handy interactive LIVES 2015 iPlanner. We look forward to meeting you in Berlin in October!
