SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

Thematic sessions, oral presentations, poster sessions, round table discussions, pro-con debates, clinical challenges, competency teaching sessions, etc ... and a complete continuing professional development educational programme organised by the ESICM Sections and the Division of Professional Development, will be held throughout the Congress. There will be a Refresher Course for instructors, as well as postgraduate courses scheduled prior to the Congress.

Continuing Medical Education / EACCME

The 23rd Annual Congress of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine will be accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME activity for medical specialists.

The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS – www.uems.be).

EACCME credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA Category 1 credit, contact the AMA (www.ama-assn.org).
