The ESICM Editorial and Publishing Committee (EPC) manages all publications of any kind related to intensive care medicine. You will find in the subpages all information related to the Journal Intensive Care Medicine as well as other articles published by or on behalf of the Society. 

ESICM Books

In 2007, the Society celebrated its 25th Anniversary. On that occasion it has been decided to publish a book entitled 25 Years of Progress and Innovation in Intensive Care Medicine.  The book was distributed during 20h Annual Congress in Berlin (7-10 October 2007).

The feedback was extremely positive, with many requests asking us to repeat the exercise in 2008 and future years.  The editors (Ralf Kuhlen, Rui Moreno, Marco Ranieri, and Andrew Rhodes) accepted the challenge of reproducing another book for the 2008 annual congress in Lisbon 21-24 Sept. 2008) entitled Controversies in Intensive Care Medicine.

We already take the opportunity to announce the next ESICM book again accomanying the general theme of our next annual congress in Vienna (11-14 October 2009): Patient Safety and Quality of Care in Intensive Care Medicine.
