Activities

This new ESICM section “Trauma and Emergency Medicine” (TEM) wants to serve as a means for communication among physicians interested in pre-hospital and hospital trauma resuscitation and emergency medicine. The section wants to promote clinical and educational excellence in specific critical care issues encountered in trauma care and emergency medicine practice. Therefore, we want to research best practices and innovations, and then properly teach and disseminate them responsibly. Another goal of the section is to promote clinical and experimental research in this field.

The next section meeting will be held during the upcoming ESICM LIVES congress in Lisbon/Portugal (October 13-17, 2012).
