Dual Membership


The ESICM is entering into partnerships with the National Societies of Intensive Care in order to provide increased benefits to both societies members.
The conditions for the members of any cooperating national society are as follows:

  • A reduced membership fee of €100. This offer is valid for the 2012 membership year. This reduced membership fee enables all of the major benefits of regular ESICM membership.

 


Benefits

  • Access to the electronic version of the journal Intensive Care Medicine through the ESICM and/or the ICM website. The paper version can be obtained with the payment of a supplementary optional upgrade fee.
  • Access to the most recent version of the web-based Patient-Centered Acute Care Training (PACT) learning programme.
  • Access to all Flash conferences, podcasts and e-posters on the ESICM web site.
  • Discounted rates to EDIC board exams and the ESICM Annual Congress
  • Discounted rates to all meetings endorsed by the ESICM.
  • Ability to participate in the scientific activities of ESICM.
  • Ability to participate in the Educational activities: post-graduate courses, training activities, European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC).
  • Access to ESICM electronic newsletters.
  • Ability to join ESPNIC (European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care) with the payment of a supplementary optional upgrade fee, identical to the other ESICM members.

 


How to apply

ESICM offers dual membership to all members of any National Society that has signed the dual membership agreement with the ESICM.

Please note that when applying, you give permission for ESICM to check with your national society that your national membership is valid.
