The ESICM Editorial and Publishing Committee (EPC) manages all publications of any kind related to intensive care medicine. You will find in the subpages all information related to the Journal Intensive Care Medicine as well as other articles published by or on behalf of the Society. 

 

ESICM Books

 

The EPC is proud to have published in September 2007 the first ESICM book entitled "25 Years of Progress and Innovation in Intensive Care Medicine". Editors: Ralf Kuhlen, Rui Moreno, Marco Ranieri, and Andrew Rhodes.

 

The book has been distributed at the 20th ESICM Annual Congress last October in Berlin.

The ESICM members have received this book for free. Become a member now!

The second book is in preparation "Controversies in Intensive Care Medicine" and will be published in September 2008 and distributed at the 21st ESICM Annual Congress in Lisbon.

 

 

Publications endorsed


The ESICM EPC has and will sometimes endorse publications from identified Working Groups or from groups in which ESICM or a Section of it has participated. 

The ESICM has endorsed the guidelines published in Critical Care (Forum) together with the European Society of Anaesthesiologists, the European Shock Society, the European Trauma Society, and the European Society for Emergency Medicine. The ESICM representative is Yves Ozier in the Task Force for Advanced Bleeding Care in Trauma (ABC-T).
