Working group on Health EconomicsAims and Missions
The working group on Health Economics has decided to prepare a major research project able to attract and involve ESICM Members. To select the topic, Paolo Merlani (Geneva, CH) has made responsible for collecting research proposals and analysing feasibility to identify the project of the Health Economics working group.

Activities
Akos Csomos, former head of the Health Economics working group, organized the survey on ICU funding (ICUFUND). The paper to disseminate the results of the survey will be prepared in the next months.
At the same time, Paolo Merlani is preparing a background analysis and the form to collect proposals.
Meetings agenda and minutes
The next meeting of the group will be held during the 29th ISICEM, which will take place from 24th to 27th March 2009 in Brussels, Belgium. Details about dates and locations will be communicated as soon as possible
